Five teachers in Turkey’s Zonguldak province, identified with initials A.S.B., A.T., Z.E., S.K. and B.H., were arrested as part of an investigation into the Gülen movement, on Thursday.
The teachers were earlier dismissed from profession over same charges.
Turkish government accuses the movement of masterminding the coup attempt while the latter denies involvement.
Turkey has already detained 80,000 people and arrested 40,000 over alleged or real links to the movement. Meanwhile, 120,000 people lost their jobs with most of them being state positions.
