Police detained 10 judges, prosecutors and lawyers who were removed from their jobs over their alleged ties to the Gulen movement was detained on Monday.

Detention warrants were issued for 10 judicial members at Tokat Public Prosecutor’s Office’s order and the suspects were detained in several provinces before being brought to Tokat.

Turkish government accuses Gulen movement of masterminding the July 15, 2016 coup attempt while the latter denies involvement. The government considers the movement as a terrorist organization and has arrested more than 60,000 people over ties to the group, among them many judges and prosecutors as well as lawyers.
