A 10-year-old boy, identified with his initials V.T., has been severely wounded after being shot by an armoured vehicle in Turkey’s eastern province of Muş.
Media reported Thursday that V.T., got injured by a gunfire from an armored police vehicle that was on patrol along İstasyon Street at the time of the incident.
The boy was shot just above his hear according to media.
Mus Governor’s Office said in a statement that the weapon on the top of the vehicle was fired by accident after the vehicle drove along trenches on the road.
V.T. was taken to hospital while three officers deemed to be responsible for the incident were suspended, the statement said.
