Five people were detained in Turkey’s Kayseri province on the grounds that they have made propaganda on behalf of the Gulen movement on social media.

State-run Anadolu news agency reported on Oct 20 that police detained suspected 5 people after simultaneous raids on their premises.

Detainees are three teachers who were earlier removed from their jobs over links to the movement and two businessmen.

Turkish government blames the movement for the July 15, 2016 coup attempt while the latter denies involvement. Nearly 130,000 people were detained and some  60,000 were put in pretrial detention since last summer.
