At least 699 people were detained as part of an investigation into the Gülen movement over the past week.
In a written statement on Monday, the Interior Ministry said 699 people were rounded up in operations targeting the Gülen movement between Dec 4 to 11.
Turkish government accuses the movement of masterminding the July 15, 2016 coup attempt while the latter denies involvement.
More than 130,000 people have been detained and 60,000 arrested over ties to the movement since the summer of 2016.
