An American woman who has reached out to Turkish basketball player Enes Kanter via Instagram said that she can’t travel to Turkey becasue she has Kanter’s signature tattooed on her arm.
Kanter on Monday revealed the DMs between him and the woman who claimed to be the admin of a travel website.
“I can’t travel to Turkey cause I’m going against Erdogan and on my social networks and I’ve your signature tattooed on my arm,” the woman told Kanter in an Istagram DM.
In response, Kanter said: “I can’t believe this is happening. She got my signature tattooed on her arm and now she can’t go to Turkey. WTF!!! I’m sorry people.”
Kanter is accused of membership in Gulen movement, with his social media posts cited as “evidence” in the extradition request that Turkey has prepared.
Turkey had revoked Kanter’s passport in 2017 and attempted to have him deported him from Romania during one of his international trips.
I can’t believe this is happening. 🤬
