An Ardahan teacher who was removed from his/her job and later detained for four days has turned out to be blacklisted on state records as he was denied notary service to sell his/her car.
According to Hurriyet daily newspaper, H.A. was dismissed from job as a teacher over alleged ties to the Gulen movement like thousands of others.
The government accuses the movement of masterminding the July 15, 2016 coup attempt while the latter denies involvement.
H.A. spent four days under police custody before being released and the prosecutor in charge dismissed the charges due to lack of grounds for legal action on Sept 29, 2017.
However, H.A. was denied notary service on Oct 27 due to what a notary officer told him/her his name being in the list of suspicious people.
Nearly 150,000 people have lost their jobs as part of the government’s post-coup crackdown while some 130,000 were detained since the summer of 2016.
