Two more relatives of US-based Turkish scholar Fethullah Gülen have been arrested in the Black Sea province of Trabzon.
According to pro-gov’t Sabah daily, seven out of 14 detainees were arrested on charges of membership in a terrorist organization on Monday. Among those were Gülen’s two nephews, A.G. and R.G.
The other arrestees were identified as follows: K.G, M.A, İ.H.Ş, M.Ç, Z.T, S.D. and İ.Ç.
The Turkish government accuses Gülen of masterminding a coup attempt on July 15, 2016.
Gülen denies any involvement.
