Warrants were issued for 84 people who used to work for dormitories affiliated with the Gulen movement on Monday.
An Istanbul prosecutor issued detention warrants for 84 suspects who worked at the Yuksek Tahsil Vakfi, the parent foundation above all Gulen-linked dormitories until they were closed by the government, state-run Anadolu agency said.
Police carried out operations in 21 provinces and detained 45 of the suspects, Anadolu added.
Turkish government accuses the movement of masterminding the July 15, 2016 coup attempt while the latter denies involvement.
Nearly 150,000 people have been detained and 60,000 arrested over ties to the movement since the summer of 2016.
