18 businessmen were arrested Aug 26 in a probe into the financial links of sympathizers of U.S.-based Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen, including the chief executive of major Turkish company İhlas Holding, Cahit Paksoy.

Within the scope of the probe, Paksoy and 97 others, including those from discount market chain A101, were detained on Aug 17. After spending 9 days under custody, Paksoy and 18 others have been arrested by an İstanbul court on Aug 26.
