A 49-year-old Turkish woman, identified with initials N.Ç. who allegedly has worked as an undercover informant for the Turkish government in Denmark, was sentenced to 6 months in prison by a Danish court.

According to a pro-Gulen Journalist Hasan Cücük, the woman secretly provided the Turkish authorities with information about Gulenists living in Denmark.  TurkeyPurge editors have not verified the accuracy of the claims.

The Turkish government holds the Gülen group responsible for the failed coup, although the group denies any involvement. Tens of thousands of real and perceived supporters of the group are being prosecuted in Turkey.
