Hüseyin İdiğ, a Kurdish prisoner who had been jailed for twenty-six years over terror charges, died at age of 63, according to the MED TUHAD-FED Twitter account.

İdiğ was reportedly jailed in 1995 over alleged links to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and had been housed at several different Turkish prisons, including Siirt and Balıkesir prisons to date.

The man reportedly suffered from a range of diseases, including stomach ulcer, migraine and pneumonia.
