Access to the website of the Turkey’s only Kurdish-language printed daily newspaper, Rojeva Medya was blocked to Turkish internet users on May 11, according to media.

Effective as of May 11, Turkish Telecommunications Authority (BTK) has blocked access to rojevamedya.com as part of an “administrative measure.”

Established in Nov 11, 2016, Rojeva Medya is the only printed newspaper that is published in the Kurdish language as the government has shut down other Kurdish dailies as part of its post-coup crackdown since last summer.
