Detention warrants were issued for 107 teachers who were earlier removed from their jobs over ties to the Gulen movement, on Monday.

Ankara Public Prosecutor’s Office issued warrants for 107 teachers, of which 51 were rounded up, according to early reports.

Turkish government accuses the Gulenists of masterminding the July 15, 2016 coup attempt. The movement denies involvement in the abortive coup however, over 125,000 people have already been taken into custody over ties to the group so far.
