A Düzce man, identified as A.G., was arrested on accusation of making propaganda on behalf of Gülen movement on the social media.

The government accuses the movement of masterminding the July 15 coup attempt while the latter denies any involvement.

State-run Anadolu news agency reported on Wednesday that A.G. was jailed after his testimony.

Turkey has already detained 80,000 people and arrested 40,000 over alleged or real ties to the movement.
