Turkey’s media watchdog, RTÜK shut down Uşak-based ART TV, ART Radio and Uşak Klas Radyo as part of an investigation into the Gülen movement.

Government accuses the movement of masterminding the coup attempt despite the latter’s denying involvement.

The three media outlets have added to 160 other media outlets previously shut down in government decrees issued under post-coup emergency rules.

Meanwhile, a total of 119 journalists have been currently under arrest.
