At least 810 people have been detained by the Turkish police over alleged links to the Gulen group throughout June 2021, according to the International Association for Human Rights Advocacy in Geneva (IAHRA GENEVA).

“In June 2021, only based on pro-government sources, 810 people were arrested in Turkey on bogus terrorism charges on account of their alleged links or affiliation with Gülen/ Hizmet movement,” the association tweeted.

The Turkish government accuses the Gulen group of masterminding a coup attempt in July 15, 2016. The group denies any involvement.
