Two judges, identified with initials M.K.O. and K.K., were taken into custody over their alleged links to the Gülen movement, which the government accuses of masterminding the July 15, 2016 coup attempt, on Saturday.
The two judges were earlier dismissed from their profession over the same charges. Turkish media reported that detention warrants were issued for another 21 judges over similar charges.
At least 4,319 judges and prosecutors have been dismissed from their jobs over ties to the movement since July 15.
