Detention warrants were issued on Thursday for a total of 380 businessmen on the grounds that they provided financial support to the Gülen movement, which the AKP gov’t accuses of masterminding a failed coup attempt on July 15.

The police on Thursday conducted simultaneous operations in 35 different provinces to detain the suspects.

Turkey survived a military coup attempt on July 15 that killed over 240 people and wounded more than a thousand others. After the putsch, Turkey has dismissed over 100,000 people from public service and arrested more than 40,000 on coup and terror charges.
