Can Tombul, a Turkish lawyer and a member of the Law Bureau of the Oppressed (EHB) has been put in pre-trial detention “for being a member of a terror organization”.

According to a statement released by the Law Bureau of the Oppressed on August 3, 2018, after being held in police custody for four days, he was arrested by an İstanbul court on Friday and sent to prison on charge of “being a member of a terror organization.”
