A total of 20 academics and personnel at Turkey’s second most-populated university were detained as part of an investigation into the July 15 coup attempt probe.

Professors and lecturers are among the academics detained at Anadolu University, on August 18.

Turkey has detained 40,029 people with 20,355 of them arrested since July 15 coup attempt which killed some 240 people.
