Police detained four people including a former parliamentary candidate of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (HDP), media reported Friday.

Kenan Marasli was a deputy candidate on HDP tickets in Kayseri in June 24, 2018 elections.

The group was detained on accusation of making propaganda on behalf of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on social media.

Police said five guns were seized during the searches on the suspects’ homes.
