Detention warrants were issued for 18 women in Turkey’s central province of Konya as part of an investigation into the Gulen movement, on Tuesday.

State-run Anadolu news agency said women are part of the Gulen group’s women network in Konya.

Police detained 15 of them at the time of this writing while the remaining 3 were still being sought.

Turkish government accuses the movement of masterminding the July 15, 2016 failed coup while the latter denies involvement.
