Police officers from the Counter Terrorism Unit arrested a Turkish dentist over alleged links to the Gulen group, which the government accused of masterminding a coup in 2016. The group denies any involvement.
Police say the man was attempting to re-establish the Gulen group through meetings with students at the Çukurova university, a public university in Adana province.
A short video footage released by the police revealed that the dentist was seen handcuffed behind the back in the prone position. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
