Eyüp Öztürk, a 17-year-old boy with 99-percent disability was shot dead by his mother S.B., media said Friday.

Denizli mother killed herself after shooting her son in the head who had cerebral palsy –permanent movement disorder caused by damaged brain parts.

Eyup’s father, I.O., who got divorced from S.B. a year ago, was earlier discharged from his job at Turkish Railways (TCDD) and put in pretrial detention over ties to the Gulen movement.

Turkish government blames the movement for the July 15, 2016 failed coup while the latter denies involvement.

E.B. suffered physiological problems as she was barely making ends meet with her son’s disability allowance, municipal aid and support from neighbors.
